We’re changing our name

For over 7+ years we’ve been dedicated to monitoring noise and protecting short-term rental properties. From the very beginning, our vision was to create a platform that not only expanded what we protect but also how we protect it. We’ve gone beyond noise detection.

We now detect smoking. As we change, so will our name.

Excitingly, we’ve already partnered with hotels to detect and resolve smoking issues. We’ve successfully monitored over 2 million room nights. And we’re excited to bring what we’ve learned to short-term rentals.

You might be asking, where’s the big reveal? Well, NoiseAware has been a long-standing, valued name. To change it overnight didn’t feel right. We want you to be a part of the transition and see the changes as they unfold, plus there will be a lot of them. 

For now rest assured that if you notice our name changing in a few places, we’re still us, we’re just changing into a new us, soon.

We’ve anticipated some questions you might have and answered them below.

FAQ

When can I get the new smoke sensor? 

Soon! This new sensor will be capable of detecting both noise and smoke. It’s currently in development for short-term rental customers. Stay tuned for updates, and we encourage you to join our waitlist to be among the first to receive information and notifications!

Will my login change? 

Not yet, we’ll update you when there is a new dashboard release with our new name. You might notice changes on a few public facing places but behind the scenes you’ll still see our original name, NoiseAware. 

Are there any billing related changes?

Nothing here will change – our entity is still NoiseAware including on our invoices, contracts, and W-9. Please reach out to support@noiseaware.com if you have any additional billing related questions. 

Where else will I see the name change?

Right now you’ll still see NoiseAware in many places including our website, dashboard and mobile app. However, our smoking detection solution is available for hotels where the name Rest is at the forefront. You’ll start to see some slow changes unfold in certain places, more updates to come.
