Rental Safety, Property Care And Guest Issues: April 29 Happy Hour

Rental safety is a serious topic. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun while discussing it! We’re pleased to be joining forces with property care and services platform Breezeway for a virtual National Happy Hour hosted by short term rental alliances network Rent Responsibly. Register now for this relaxed and informative virtual event, taking place Thursday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. The Happy Hour will feature speakers from NoiseAware, Breezeway and Rent Responsibly, providing key intel and addressing questions related to property cleaning and maintenance, noise monitoring, guest communication, and STR policy education and advocacy.

A little background on the participating platforms:

NoiseAware

Developed by a rental property owner in 2015, NoiseAware was the first platform to enter the short-term-rental market with a solution to the number one signal of potential property damage: noise. NoiseAware’s privacy-safe smart noise monitoring solution saves property owners and managers time and money, allowing them to maximize their return on short-term-rental investments while minimizing hassle and expense. The company has helped short-term rental homeowners and managers save $105 million in lost rental revenue due to noise disturbances.

Promoting its Good Neighbor Guarantee™, NoiseAware helps property owners and managers monitor rental noise remotely. The company’s non-intrusive devices measure decibel levels and gently notify guests if they exceed acceptable volume. Because it does not record sounds, NoiseAware’s technology protects guest privacy, while protecting neighbors’ rights and community harmony.

Breezeway

FlipKey founder Jeremy Gall launched Breezeway in 2017 to solve problems he encountered managing his own vacation rental remotely. Aimed at bringing hospitality-level service optimization to property-management sectors, Breezeway helps managers and owners coordinate, assign and verify crucial property-care and cleaning tasks. These include scheduling field staff and property inspections, customizing care and maintenance workflows for specific properties and guests, and assigning work to outsourced teams.

The company’s software and mobile apps have facilitated over two million property tasks and helped hundreds of rental and hospitality operators streamline, optimize and verify services. As travel restrictions lift and short-term rentals rev up, Breezeway provides a platform for customers to meet the demand for quality-assured property operations and rigorous cleaning compliance that the post-pandemic travel era demands.

Rent Responsibly

The concept of Rent Responsibly emerged in 2016, when NoiseAware co-founder David Krauss and a team of colleagues rented a Winnebago to drive from Seattle to Los Angeles, meeting with short-term vacation-rental advocates and stopping at city halls along the way. Following that eye-opening trip, David worked with more than 70 local groups of property hosts, owners and managers dedicated to fair regulations for short-term rentals.

In 2019, David  teamed up with industry advocate Alexa Nota of the Chapel Hill Short-Term Rental Alliance to create an organized, coordinated initiative on behalf of short-term-rental stakeholders. The Rent Responsibly platform enables these stakeholders to collaborate more effectively and efficiently in creating a sustainable future, and improving communities where short-term rentals operate.

We encourage short-term-rental property managers and owners to join us and our industry partners for this engaging and timely event…and have your favorite beverage at your side (we sure will!).
